Getting there

Mom Touch Hotel is about 8.2 km in a straight line from Thal. The nearest airport is Chitral Airport, about 54 km away in a straight line.

In the mountains, travel time depends far more on the road than on the distance: landslides, snow and roadworks can close passes and slow the drive, so check road conditions before setting out.

OVERALL We weren’t impressed at all with our stay at Mom’s Touch - which definitely lacks a woman’s touch! They park cars in the courtyard which creates loads of fumes, despite there being room on the road for parking. There is no greenery/flowers or pretty design to the hotel. ROOMS The all-male staff were very unprofessional and the floors of the bedroom and the bathrooms were very dirty. There is not 24hr hot water as they advertise. RESTAURANT The food is average with a small menu and breakfast is not included. Even when we ordered our food in the morning for a certain time in the evening, it was 4hrs late or had been forgotten by the time the evening came. PRICE They tried to charge…
