In the 2 days I stayed here, the owner and staff of this resort made certain that my friends and I were comfortable, warm, and enjoying every second of our trip. The rooms were impeccable, and the view from the rooms even more so. We had a picnic on a cliff overlooking the dam and sunset, went boating twice, toasted marshmallows over a bonfire, went on a hike to watch the sunrise, and tried their zip lining. I wish I had stayed longer to do more of what they offer. I’m coming back here with my family!

Rooms are not up to the mark as compared to the high rent 12k. We stayed there 17 hours from one evening to the other morning. There was not a drop of water in the washroom the whole night till 8am in the morning. The room was smelly, and the flies were hovering. Only the location is good. They need to improve all the rest.

The Margalla Hills rise directly north of Islamabad, a wooded ridge of trails, viewpoints and wildlife on the city's edge. The hills form a long ridge along the northern edge of Islamabad, rising steeply from the city's sectors into a protected national park, and they run roughly east to west, with the highest point near the centre. The hills are covered in scrub forest and are home to leopards, monkeys and a wide range of birdlife. Several marked trails start within the city, making the hills accessible for short walks or full-day hikes. The lower slopes are dry scrub and acacia, giving way to denser forest in the folds and gullies, and birdlife is rich, with raptors and songbirds common in spring and autumn.

Islamabad, built from the 1960s to replace Karachi as Pakistan's capital, lies within reach, and Rawalpindi, a dense, historic city in northern Punjab beside the capital and a gateway to the hill country, is also nearby.
