Getting there
Grand Heights Hotel is in central the Mall in Murree, within a kilometre of the centre. The nearest airport is Islamabad International Airport, about 66 km away in a straight line.
In the mountains, travel time depends far more on the road than on the distance: landslides, snow and roadworks can close passes and slow the drive, so check road conditions before setting out.

Grand Heights Hotel averages 3.5 out of 5 across 572 reviews. A selection:
I recently visited this hotel, and honestly, it felt like a haunted house. The outer walls were damaged, with wild plants and grass growing out of them. The window glass was extremely dirty, even handprints were smeared all over, and you could barely see outside. The condition of the rooms inside was no better. The washrooms were in terrible shape, sanitary fixtures were broken, the showers had no heads (just pipes sticking out), and the commodes were cracked and extremely dirty. Cleanliness seemed like a foreign concept to the owner. When I went to the reception, the owner/manager came to speak to me. His tone was rude and harsh. He was wearing filthy clothes with stains of salan all over…
This was my 2nd visit at Grand Heights Hotel Firstly, it was much more costly, secondly, there was no such polite man sitting on reception, he was rude, The rooms were very smelly, bedsheets were looking like a hospital used bedsheets, no cleanliness, no service by staff, very bad experience again. I will not recommend it to anyone.

Travellers usually stay either in central Murree around the Mall, where hotels and guest houses cluster close to the main bazaars, or in the quieter surrounding areas of Bhurban, Patriata and Ghora Gali, which suit those with their own transport.
